Maths for Key Stages 3 and 4

Mathematics at Key Stages 3 & 4
can be very confusing.

There are all kinds of things
that don't always seem
to make much sense
or have any practical use.

In particular, lots of people
seem to hate geometry

- with all its difficult theorems -

and absolutely detest algebra!

(Hands up if that includes you!)

My way of approaching
Maths at Key Stages 3 and 4
is to delve really deeply
into the underlying concepts,

to find ways for students
to really get their heads round
what's involved in the thinking.

Once that's in place,
getting down to the nitty-gritty
is no trouble at all.

(I never did calculus at school, though,
so my apologies - can't help you with that!)
